Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Hendricks who got married on the 26 Nov 2009! As per the custom at many Muslim weddings, I wasn’t permitted at the ceremony, so I joined up with them afterwards where the bride changed from her ceremony dress to her reception dress and the little bridesmaids got ready for the reception as well.
Their reception was held at Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset West. The hall was decorated beautifully, and the food was plentiful and exquisite!

26th September 2009 will have to go down as the worst Sping Day Wedding in the last decade! It was a storm as only Cape Town can deliver – with gale force winds and torrential rain! But you would never have guessed it if you saw the wedding photography produced by QDP :).
Courtnay managed to capture the essence of the day by sheer photographic genius. My nieces and nephews – aged between 3 and 13 – were royally entertained by her, which allowed her to capture them in their childish innocence. Smiles, laughter and sheer mishievous faces all around. They had a ball! I honestly dont know how she managed to keep them entertained for 8 hours.
Adnaan and I, 1 year on, never tire of looking at our Story Book wedding gift (produced by QDP) and we relish reliving our glorious day at least once a month!!
I have recommended her to numerous brides to be, as money well spent.
