Happy birthday to me! I’m 27 today and I’ve had the BEST birthday ever! It just goes to show how priorities change and one gets older. No longer does it matter if there arent masses of presents to open, but rather the people who take the time to call/msg you to wish you a Happy Birthday.

Since it was such a gorgeous evening, my family and I took an impromptu trip to the Wheel of Excellence which is situated at the V&A Waterfront. It’s up until the end of the year and is well worth the R70 per adult! There is also a R750 VIP Gondola option, where you’re in a luxury cabin of leather seats, a glass bottom floor, a big screen TV and an extra four revolutions to enjoy (and you can bring champagne on board in the VIP gondola – perfect for a proposal!)!
Of course, it’s a great photographic opportunity, so I encourage all photo-buffs to take their cameras (and tripods!!) and snap some shots. Just after sunset is a perfect time, but it goes quickly so do some research and make the most of the time you have.
