A hearty congratulations to Mr & Mrs Le Roux who tied the knot on the 23rd Oct 2010! Their intimate ceremony was held at the breathtaking Tokara in Stellenbosch, which also played host to the reception, overlooking the vineyards with the setting sun casting a warm glow over the venue.
The bride’s hair, as well as those of her bridesmaids, was done by Denise of Alliage Hair Design (021 913 2167) and make up by Nadia Smit (084 243 6477). The bridal couple got ready at the unique and colourful African Valley Estate, just a mere 5 minutes from Tokara.
This wedding was a joy to photograph, and it seems like Chilled Brides are the in-thing these days…what a pleasure! No Bridezillas to be found anywhere!
I wish both Lauren and Peter a very happy marriage! May it be richly blessed with all things wonderful!

Courtnay from QDP photographed my wedding on the 23rd of October 2010 and did an amazing job! She was unobtrusive and just fitted in to the environment. Her relaxed, friendly yet exceptionally professional demeanour was so appreciated and enjoyed (not only by myself, but many people commented on the way she worked – from the hair stylist to the guests who attended, and even my husband who admired the fact that she even helped out in areas which weren’t expected of her).
While photographing, she made us feel comfortable and really enjoy the whole process, which helped as my husband and myself are a bit “camera awkward”. Over and above all of this, I found Courtnay’s rates incredibly reasonable and would not hesitate for a second to recommend her services to anyone looking for a great photographer to capture their special experience.
